We are excited to share some news: our 2021 Veracity just received an outstanding 99 points from Wine Enthusiast!  While we know our wines are beautiful and they always make us proud, this kind of recognition from world-renowned critics makes us stop and truly savor how awesome our wines (and our team) really are.  Scores like this are humbling, encouraging, and so fun to share with others!  Epoch is a special place with really special wines, and we are grateful that Wine Enthusiast can see and taste this too.   

Our 2021 Veracity is a blend of 43% Mourvèdre, 34% Grenache, and 23% Syrah from all three of our estate vineyards – Paderewski, Catapult, and York Mountain.  In the words of Jordan Fiorentini, our beloved and crazy talented Winemaker, our 2021 Veracity “blurs the lines between old world and new world wine” and sends “Rhône fanatics on a mind-blowing flavor adventure.”  Jordan consistently harnesses the essence of Paso Robles terroir and creates wines that are elegant and easy-to-drink yet age-worthy and thought-provoking.  Our 2021 Veracity is a beautiful testament to our historic soils and a delicious expression of the quality of wines Jordan continues to craft at Epoch.

Winemaker Jordan Fiorentini is using every tool in her belt, from the vineyards to the cellar, to create some of the best wines anywhere right now. This blend of 43% Mourvèdre, 34% Grenache and 23% Syrah is a lavish yet detailed package, offering layers of fruit, flower and spice on the nose. Expertly polished tannins are both suave yet structural, framing boysenberry, lilac, cocoa and cracked pepper flavors. — Matt Kettmann
