Turn up the spice and enjoy incredibly diverse flavors as the 2019 York Mountain Grenache takes the grape to the next level with notes of fresh black and white pepper, vibrant raspberry, bing cherry, dark soil, coastal chaparral, rosemary, black licorice, rose and orange oils, and roasted coffee. Spice, herbs, and earth notes encircle the outer rings of the palate as elegant, ripe red fruits concentrate on the mid palate and flow into chewy, long-grain tannins at its finish. This wine is a rare example of how serious, graceful, and mouth-filling a Grenache can be. – Jordan Fiorentini

Power and grace merge in the 2018 York Mountain Grenache which boasts Old World charm with the intensity inherent to California.  Dark and fleshy Amarena cherries, white and black pepper spice, candied orange peel, sweet leather, sun roasted sage, black licorice, and dried violets envelope the nose and race across the palate. Chewy and round at first sip, the wine’s texture and juicy acidity spider graph across the palate, bounding in all directions and finishing with lingering structure.  This gorgeous and unforgettable wine heralds a new era for Grenache and York Mountain.
