The Story
Bill and Liz Armstrong’s story began at SMU, where they met as geology students and fell in love with both each other and the Mustang spirit. Their connection to SMU has only deepened over the years, as they’ve given back in ways that enrich student life and energize Mustang Football. Today, their entire family, spanning multiple generations, shares in that same passion, cheering on the Mustangs together every season. From helping create spaces where students can thrive to supporting the resurgence of SMU Football with gifts toward the Armstrong Fieldhouse and Ford Stadium’s new end zone complex, their generosity reflects both gratitude for their own SMU journey and excitement for the generations to come.

We’re also proud to be a sponsor of the Mustang Club Tailgate, where Epoch wines will be featured at every home game inside the Armstrong Fieldhouse.
