Our Signature Tasting, gives you a well-rounded view of the wonderful wines at Epoch! We present these wines to you in a pre-poured flight. This format gives guests the opportunity to enjoy the wines side-by-side, a tasting experience that highlights the fun differences in wine varieties and vintages. One of our awesome Tasting Room Educators will be there to walk you through these wines and the Epoch story. We look forward to tasting with you!

We invite you to enjoy a special library tasting featuring some of our favorite Epoch wines from the standout 2014 vintage. Step back in time with us and savor a curated selection from this classic year.

During the month of November, we are offering an Epoch Wine Club exclusive tasting experience! We are excited to invite our club members to join us to taste a selection of Fall 2024 Release wines. Epoch Wine Club members receive complimentary tastings based on their club level.

Now that our 2024 Harvest has finished, let’s talk about our farming practices and why they are so important!
“As an overview, we have always had the goal of the vines being a direct reflection of the special sites in which they are grown. We have worked hard to figure out how best to make this a reality, and that is why we landed on biodynamic farming – less inputs means less manipulation which means a more direct representation of terroir (to use the French term).”

WHY GOOD FARMING MATTERS…
Good wine is made from good grapes, and good grapes come from healthy vineyards. By taking care of our soil and training our vines to be more self-sustaining, our vines live longer and our wines can more directly reflect the special sites on which they are grown.
WHAT IS BIODYNAMIC FARMING?
In day-to-day practice, the goal of biodynamic farming is to create a farm system that is minimally dependent on imported materials, and instead meets its needs from the living dynamics of the farm itself. It is the biodiversity of the farm, organized so that the waste of one part of the farm becomes the energy for another, that results in an increase in the farm’s capacity for self-renewal and, ultimately, makes the farm sustainable.

The Epoch Winery🍇
Ten years, seven vintages, and two estate vineyard plantings passed before we had our own winery. While we are so thankful for the years spent building the Epoch name and honing in on our winemaking style at Denner’s facilities, we were beyond ecstatic to move into our own winery days before Harvest 2014 began. This super-swanky winery boasts the rustic elegance of times gone by, complemented by clean lines of modern architecture.
Nestled into the oak covered hills of York Mountain, the 17,000 square foot state-of-the-art winery slips into the natural surroundings. To ensure the natural beauty was not obstructed, we placed most of the winery beneath the earth by utilizing a cut-and-cover method. This allows the winery to literally blend into the landscape, and in-turn provides our barrel room with natural temperature control – a win, win for all!
